Overview
Michigan’s Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) program is designed to assist local municipalities with the construction of needed water pollution control facilities.
Funding Details

- Variable principal forgiveness for wastewater, stormwater and nonpoint source related infrastructure
- Disadvantaged/overburdened communities are given principal forgiveness priority

Eligible Projects
- Improvements to treatment, storage, collection, conveyance, recycling, or reclamation of the sewage
- Correction of combined sewer overflows (CSOs) and sanitary sewer overflows (SSOs)
- Improvements to treatment, storage, recycling, or reclamation of stormwater
How to Apply
Eligible applicants must submit an Intent to Apply (ITA) form to EGLE-WIFS@Michigan.gov by November 1, 2023, outlining applicant information and project information. The applicant will be assigned a project manager who will schedule a pre-application meeting to review the project goals. If the applicant is to move forward, a Project Planning Document must be prepared and submitted by May 1, 2024.
